SIX BARRIS, SOTT, DENN & DRIKER ATTORNEYS RECOGNIZED BY BEST LAWYERS IN AMERICA FOR 2008

DETROIT, MI – William G. Barris, Eugene Driker, James S. Fontichiaro, Robert E. Kass, Daniel M. Share and Sharon M. Woods of Barris, Sott, Denn & Driker, P.L.L.C. have been named as Best Lawyers In America for the 2008 edition of the publication.

Both Driker and Woods were honored for their practice as commercial litigators as well as being called to take on “Bet-the-Company” litigation. Woods was also named as a Best Lawyer in the field of professional liability defense litigation.

Kass was named a Best Lawyer in the field of Trusts and Estates. Barris, Share, and Fontichiaro were named Best Lawyers for their real estate expertise.

Driker, one of the firm’s founding members and a senior member of the firm, received his bachelor’s degree and J.D. from Wayne State University and his L.L.M from The George Washington University School of Law.

Woods, the firm’s managing member and Chair of the firm’s Litigation Department, graduated magna cum laude from the University of Detroit and summa cum laude, from the University of Detroit School of Law.

Barris has been with the firm since its inception in 1968. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the University of Michigan Law School. He has over 36 years of broad-based real estate practice experience.

Share has an extensive legal practice concentrating on real estate, business transactions, corporate law, and commercial litigation. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1976.

Fontichiaro graduated with high honors from Michigan State University and received his J.D. cum laude from Wayne State University. He enjoys a diverse real estate practice.

Kass graduated with honors from the University of Michigan Law School and received his L.L.M. in taxation from New York University Law School. He has a very busy and diverse estate and tax planning practice.
