Erica Fitzgerald has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Southeastern Michigan Administrative Services Group, formerly known as the Legal Aid and Defender Association, which is the largest provider of legal services to low- and moderate-income people in Michigan and one of the largest in the nation.  This appointment reflects dedication to pro bono service by both Erica and Barris, Sott, Denn & Driker, PLLC, which regularly attains the top level of the State Bar of Michigan’s Pro Bono Circle of Excellence by exceeding the standards for pro bono service. 

Erica specializes in business litigation and contract negotiation.  She has been honored as a Rising Star by Michigan Super Lawyers and as an Up & Coming Lawyer by Michigan Lawyers Weekly.  She is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and lives in Ann Arbor.  She also serves on the boards of the Ann Arbor Summer Festival and the Federal Bar Association’s local chapter.
