Dave Bargamian Presents on Convention Bureaus at Governor’s Conference on Tourism04/20/2016
Dave Bargamian gave a presentation titled “Preserving, Protecting, and Defending Your Convention Bureau” on April 18 at the Governor’s Conference on Tourism held in Lansing, Michigan. The presentation drew on Dave’s experience working with various convention bureaus around the state, including the Detroit Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Grand Rapids Convention and Visitors Bureau. In addition to representing convention bureaus, Dave has assisted the host organizations that have brought major events to Detroit, such as Super Bowl XL, the NCAA Final Four and the AAU Junior Olympics.
Dave’s practice covers all aspects of real estate (including financing, development and work-outs), environmental law, corporate law, and business counseling. Dave also has an extensive creditor’s rights practice, representing lenders both in court and out-of-court workouts, as well as protecting creditors’ interests in bankruptcy proceedings. Dave also possesses significant court experience covering real estate-related litigation, corporate disputes, enforcing financing documents, property tax appeals, as well as litigating will contests and other probate matters.
