We are counsel to some of the largest commercial real estate developers in Michigan - utilities, automakers, and Fortune 500 companies - but also small and medium-size developers.  Our real estate development clients also include shopping centers, apartment complexes, office buildings, restaurant chains, and golf courses with residential developments.

We counsel clients on land acquisitions, the formation of real estate ventures, site development, zoning, construction contracts, condemnations, environmental matters, financing, and transactions (including sales, land leases, sale/leaseback agreements and synthetic leases).  We also assist in land assemblages, negotiating operating agreements and working out site development agreements with local governmental bodies.
