SHARON WOODS AGAIN NAMED A “LITIGATION STAR”

Benchmark Litigation has, for the sixth year, named Sharon M. Woods as a Litigation Star for 2016.
Sharon is the chairperson of Barris, Sott, Denn & Driker’s litigation department and served as the firm’s managing member for twenty-four years. She is known for handling “bet the company” business litigation and specializes in legal and accounting malpractice defense, construction law, employment law, business torts, and alternative dispute resolution.
Sharon was elected a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers in 1989 and was elected to its national Board of Regents for 2001-2005. She was elected a fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers in 2003.
Sharon earned a Bachelor of Science Degree (magna cum laude) in biology and mathematics and a law degree (summa cum laude), both from the University of Detroit. Sharon and her husband, attorney Thomas Woods, live in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
